Born in 1952. Oldest of seven children (6 boys, 1 girl in middle). Dad was college teacher. Mom was homemaker and then librarian.

Lived in Seward, Nebraska, until 1968 and then Eugene, Oregon, until 1978.

BA and MA in Slavic Languages from Univ of Oregon.

US Air Force 1978-1992. Intelligence officer, rank of major.

Private translator, 1992 - 2003. Translated WWII documents from German, Russian, Polish.

Administative assistant in home health care business, Confident Care, in Hackensack, New Jersey, from 2003 to present.

Married three times. Married with current wife, Zofija (Lithuanian immigrant), happily since 1995. I have three step-children (all with Zosia), who all are adults now.
